Welcome to Psychiatry and Alzheimer's Care of Rochester Research!

Why Volunteer in a Clinical Trial?

Tomorrow's medical care comes from today's clinical research. All treatments from common antibiotics to advanced disease therapies were once being investigated in a clinical trial. Not only medication, but the overall understanding about illness and disease is advanced with the help of research volunteers.  Clinical trials are a vital part to understanding Alzheimer's Disease and developing medications that aim to slow and stop the disease progression. Participants like you are seated at the heart of this crucial step in treatment development!

Our Research

At PACR we proudly offer our patients the opportunity to participate in one of our many clinical trials. Currently, we are conducting trials that investigate treatments of early memory loss, mild to moderate memory loss, and agitation/aggression in Alzheimer's dementia.

If you or a loved one are dealing with any severity of memory loss and are at least 50 years of age you may be eligible to participate in a research study!

Participation is voluntary and can be stopped at any time. Clinical trials are of no cost to participants and travel compensation may be provided.

How do I know if I Am Eligible?

Call us to schedule a screening appointment if you or a loved one have new or pre-existing memory changes, have a reliable friend/family member who can accompany you to visits if needed, and are at least 50 years old!
